Ender IO 1.6.2 Mod for Minecraft 1.6.2

[-------------------------------------ADS-------------------------------------]

Ender IO 1.6.2 Mod – Big piping systems are annoying, and we know this.  You need fifty thousand different lines to transport everything properly and it gets really annoying.  This mod aims to fix this, as well as adding machines itself.  This mod was designed for technical mods and modpacks, since piping is annoying with them.  There are no item pipes with this mod, though.  Only liquid, redstone, and power pipes, which is good enough for me.

There are no recipe images for this mod, sorry!  You’ll need to use NEI, like the mod author says on the forum.  I will go into some detail about how a lot of these things work, though.

The first things you’ll probably get to are the machines, since they’re cheap.  There are two ways to produce power in this mod, being the Stirling Generator, which produces 1MJ/t and runs on any type of fuel a furnace does.  The other is a Solar Panel, which is the same, but doesn’t require fuel, just sunlight.

The painter allows you to make facades, which allow you to cover pipes and do other things like make colored stairs, fences, and other things using Stained Clay.

The alloy furnace allows you to make the types of iron and gold required for conduits.  Those recipes are here:

  • Activated iron = redstone dust + iron ingot + glowstone dust
  • Activated gold = redstone dust + gold  ingot + glowstone dust
  • Ender iron = ender pearl + iron ingot + glowstone dust
  • Blue Steel = iron ingot + lapis + obsidian
  • Fused Quartz = 4 x nether quartz

You’ll understand how to use these when you get the alloy furnace.

The resivoir is really nice.  It allows you to have an infinite water source much easier than the vanilla one.  It’s easier with machines, at least.  After crafting, place them down in a 2x2x1 area, and then put two buckets of water in it.

The last one is one of my favourites.  For those of you who use Build Craft, you know that there isn’t any way to store MJs in it.  This mod, along with others, add that function.  This one’s the best I’ve seen, though.  It’s a multi-block structure which can take any shape.  You can make your stairs to your power room out of them, and then use it to store the power generated.

All of the conduits are pretty straight-forward, except the liquid ones.  They have some non-obvious features to them, which I’ll go over here.

To use them to automatically pull from a machine, you right click the conduit that’s attached to the machine.  The conduit will change to show arrows.  Supply it with a redstone signal and it will pull liquid out.

They also won’t connect to other conduits that have liquid in them.  You have to smack one with a wrench to connect them to each other.  This may seem like an annoying but, but it’s really useful.  It’s also not a bug.

If you right click a conduit with an empty bucket, it will empty the entire network.  I can’t make too much of a scene with this, just try it.

Another nice feature with these, is that if you double-click one of the conduits with a bucket full of liquid, only that liquid will be allowed into those pipes.  It’s like if you made two different kinds which can’t connect.

That’s all for this mod, for the most part.  It’s up to you to use this to make amazing things with it.  Good luck on this, it’s a powerful mod.
